Dr. Cedric Nkiko
Dr. Cedric N. Nkiko is a sustainability academic and consultant, recognised for his extensive research and practical experience in tackling global challenges and advancing the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). With a robust background in Corporate Strategy, Corporate Sustainability and Responsibility, and Stakeholder Engagement, Cedric is dedicated to helping institutions leverage innovative business strategies that not only enhance competitive advantage but also promote sustainable practices.
His research emphasises effective stakeholder engagement methods, aiming to develop comprehensive solutions for pressing global issues such as the refugee crisis, climate change, water scarcity, inequality, poverty, technological disruption, and biodiversity loss. A significant aspect of his work involves equipping public and private sector institutions to incorporate such challenges into their organisational strategies, for instance, the strategies for climate migration preparedness in developing economies across Africa. Currently serving as a Senior Lecturer at Worcester University, Cedric has undertaken various consultancy projects for esteemed clients, including UNDP, WBCSD, Rolls-Royce, PayPal, NHS, and numerous local authorities. His consultancy experience spans multiple countries, including Uganda, Kenya, Ghana, Rwanda, Nigeria, South Africa, the UK, France, Germany, Brazil, and the USA, showcasing his global perspective and commitment to sustainable development. As a Co-Principal Investigator for the UK, Cedric also leads the Lake Victoria Basin research aspects of the CLARS project.
