CLARS partner publishes new article on pathway to refugee integration in Uganda
This article, CLARS team member Frank Ahimbisibwe and colleague Dr. Cedric Nkiko explores how employment serves as a strategic pathway for integrating refugee and host youth in Uganda, a country known for its progressive refugee policies.It analyzes the factors influencing the experiences of refugee and host youth, aged 16–24, focusing on their perspectives, interactions, and challenges within sectors like employment and social cohesion. The research uses the UK Home Office Indicators of Integration framework to evaluate the effectiveness of current policies and find opportunities for mutual growth and integration. Find article here
