CLARS team member Dr. Thaddeus Lekule Successfully defends doctoral thesis
The CLARS project is thrilled to announce that Thaddeus Lekuel has successfully defended his doctoral thesis titled “Assessment of impact of climate change and variability on livelihood resilience: Strategies among pastoral communities in Longido District, Tanzania”.
This thesis defense, held in June 2025, marks a significant academic achievement and reflects years of rigorous research, fieldwork and scholarly commitment. Thaddeus’s study provides crucial insights into how climate change and variability are affecting pastoral communities in northern Tanzania and explores the adaptive strategies these communities employ to build resilience in the face of environmental and socio-economic challenges, key themes of the CLARS project.
